While helping students to develop their academic skills, our indigenous Waldorf mission includes reinforcing a strong cultural identity and foundation for Lakota language fluency. Two new grant awards – from the First Nations Development Institute and the Administration for Native Americans – have greatly increased our capacity to fulfill this mission.
