“The Lakota Waldorf School on the Pine Ridge Lakota Sioux Indian Reservation has recently been awarded a grant of $86,714 from the First Nations Development Institute of Longmont, Colorado. This Native Language Immersion Initiatives (NLII) grant will support an innovative expansion of the school’s efforts to preserve and revitalize the Lakota language.”
